The Dearborn Community Chorus (DCC) is a 40+ member choir dedicated to setting an example of excellence in choral singing while offering its members an opportunity to have fun and enjoy each other's companionship.
The Dearborn Community Chorus was founded in 1963 as one of the many cultural organizations sponsored by the City of Dearborn Recreation Department, Michigan. Throughout its long history, the mission of DCC has been to encourage and promote the development of a vital cultural environment within the Dearborn area while providing entertainment for the community.
The Dearborn Community Chorus performs a variety of choral music, including diverse styles from popular show tunes to classical standards. Concerts are built around the idea that both the choir and audience should be inspired as well as entertained.
Remember to look for information regarding any upcoming concerts, as well as information on how to join the choir!
The Wicked Wiz of Oz
The Dearborn Community Chorus is hard at work preparing for our upcoming concert, The Wicked Wiz of Oz, on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM, at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.
This concert brings together music from three beloved Oz-inspired works: the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, the 1970s stage and film adaptation The Wiz, and the modern Broadway phenomenon Wicked. The result is a vibrant musical journey through Oz, spanning generations and styles.
Ticket purchase information will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.
