Happy New Year to all from the Dearborn Community Chorus! 

The new 2025 session will start soon. We'll sing a medley from the Broadway hit "Ragtime" and other jazzy Americana selections. New and returning singers are welcome!

Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, 7-9 pm, beginning January 14 at Henry Ford College, room F-113 of the MacKenzie Fine Arts Center (Building F).  The concert will be on Sunday, April 13, at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.

You can register ahead of time at dearborntheater.com or come check out the first two rehearsals without commitment.  We would love to sing with you!

DCC says a sad goodbye to Steve Olsen and hopes he enjoys being nearer to family in New York.

We hope everyone had a nice holiday and is ready to get back to singing. The first rehearsal for our Spring season is Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 7 to 9 pm. We will meet in the choir room (as of now). Please use the linked registration form and bring it with you on the first night. Try to arrive by 6:45 if you need to register on-site. Please pass along the registration form to anyone interested.

This year's seasonal concert will occur on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. The times have been changed to 3pm and 5pm due to scheduling conflicts. We hope everyone has had a fun and restful summer. First rehearsal will be Tuesday, September 12, 7-9pm in the Henry Ford College Choir or Band Room. As usual, the first three rehearsals are open, so if you know of any interested singers please invite them. The theme of this concert will be The Boar's Head Festival, arranged by Steven Errante. It is a set of traditional Christmas/Holiday songs, evoking the spirit of medieval England. Steve Olsen will again be our director, and we will be singing with Vanguard Voices, accompanied by The Dearborn Chamber Orchestra, and Kevin Dewey will be conducting the concert. The concert date is Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Ford Performing Arts Center. We will have two performances this year - 5 pm and 7 pm.
